Attention Golf Lovers and Students of Bill McDougall Golf Schools,
While undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatment for throat cancer earlier this year, Bill suffered a stroke. He was discovered shortly after and was promptly rushed to the University of Alberta Hospital, where he remains under the care of their excellent doctors and nurses as of this writing (April, 2018).
Sadly, Bill will be unable to participate in his regular teaching schedule this year, as he focuses his full time and energy on recovery. To his longtime students, and to those seeking lessons for the first time, Bill sends his sincere apologies, and hopes you'll have an excellent golf season on his behalf.
If you'd like to send Bill your well-wishes, don't hesitate to text or email him -- he loves hearing from friends and having visitors at the hospital.
We'll do our best to keep everyone in the loop with Bill's recovery and let you know when he'll be able to pass along his expansive knowledge of the game to you once again.
All the best,
