One of the most insane streaks in golf is Wilson staff players winning a major in every decade since the 1920s. Even when that streak seemed in jeopardy in the late 2010s, Gary Woodland came to the rescue at the 2019 U.S. Open, winning the second-to-last major of the decade in his first season with the brand.

So it makes sense Wilson wants to build on that major-winning legacy, but update it with modern enhancements.

In comes the new Dynapwr 2025 line of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons, boasting AI-driven PKR-360 technology in the woods and PKR Cup face designs in the irons.

Here are five things to know about the new Wilson Dynapwr 2025 line.

1. Three driver models

With the new Dynapwr line, Wilson Director of Global R&D and Product Jon Pergande said the company sought to create a driver family that fit the largest number of golfers. The company believes it has accomplished this by creating three distinct models.

“We’ve listened to feedback from Tour staff, top amateurs and mid to single handicap golfers and we’re confident that the legendary DYNAPWR franchise is entering a new formidable era,” Pergande said.

The Dynapwr LS driver is the most compact driver in the lineup at 445cc, designed as a fade-biased driver to help better players eliminate the left side of the golf course. The shaping of the LS was refined with a raised skirt and a curved crown to make the clubhead more aerodynamic, allowing faster clubhead speeds. Like all the other drivers in the Dynapwr family, the LS features a 6-way adjustable hosel, but unique to the LS and Carbon models are front and back adjustable weights to dial in launch and spin. The LS has the heaviest movable weights (6g and 12g standard) allowing for the greatest CG movement.

PKR-360 Our AI driven PKR-360 has an increased number of optimizable face and body locations unique to each driver design to create a larger sweet spot and drive higher ball speeds everywhere across the face. OPEN HOSEL CONSTRUCTION Removing inefficient material from the hosel infrastructure allows the face to flex more resulting in a larger sweet spot, higher ball speeds and more forgiveness. POWERFUL SOUND Precision rib placement throughout the body of the clubhead guarantees a powerful, appealing sound.

Designed to fit the greatest number of golfers is the Dynapwr Carbon driver, which blends forgiveness and workability. The shape was designed in consultation with Wilson’s Tour staff to give the driver a more compact look while boosting forgiveness. The Carbon also has swappable front (3g) and back weights (9g) weights, similar to the LS.

Finally, the Dynapwr Max driver is for those seeking maximum forgiveness. It features a larger footprint to increase MOI and a 19g rear flippable weight to fine-tune the left-to-right bias of the club.

2. PKR-360 and Open Hosel construction

Wilson used AI to create PKR-360, which increased the number of optimizable face and body locations unique to each driver’s design. This results in a larger sweet spot and faster ball speeds across the face of each driver.

Also contributing to a larger sweet speed is a new Open Hosel construction, which strips away material from the heel side of the face, allowing the face to flex more.

3. Optimized sound

Designers used advanced Topology Optimization and precision rib placement throughout the clubhead to help fine-tune the sound of each driver.

“For the sound, we tested up to 40 optimized parameters across the face and surrounding geometries, using more than 2,000 face designs per driver model,” Pergande said. This process is equivalent to creating 2,000 tools in order to balance mass properties, structural design, and sound. The result, we believe, is the best-sounding drivers Wilson has ever made,”

4. Two fairway wood options and one hybrid

The PKR-360 tech carries over into the new Dynapwr fairway woods and hybrids. The family has two fairway woods, Dynapwr Carbon and Dynapwr Max, each with different characteristics to fit different players. All three clubs feature a forged 455 face material.

The Dynapwr Carbon fairway wood, as the name implies, features a carbon crown to take the CG lower, along with a 30g fixed tungsten weight, which combines to help produce a penetrating ball flight. An adjustable 6-way hosel featuring Open Hosel construction carries over from the drivers to add customization and fitting options.

The new DYNAPWR Fairways are optimized with multiple sweet spots, thanks to AI driven PKR-360, and the strength and high ball speeds of forged custom 455 face material. PKR-360 Our AI driven PKR-360 has an increased number of optimizable face and body locations unique to each fairway design to create a larger sweet spot and drive higher ball speeds everywhere across the face. FORGED CONSTRUCTION Custom 455 face material provides strength and high ball speeds while elevating the feel shot after shot.

With the Dynapwr Max fairway wood, a thin-cast steel crown helps take the CG low and back, as well as a 12g weight to help players launch the ball up in the air easier.

Coming in a variety of lofts from a 17-degree 2-hybrid all the way to a 28-degree 6-hybrid, the Dynapwr hybrid has a new compact head design and an extended toe area to provide more stability on toe strikes.

5. Two iron models with PKR-Cup technology

Along with the metal woods, Wilson is launching the Dynapwr game-improvement irons and the Dynapwr Max super game-improvement irons.

Both models in the family feature a new PKR-Cup technology, which combines a cup face with Wilson’s AI-generated Variable Face Technology to optimize ball speed and launch windows.

They also feature a Velocity Optimization Channel to increase face flex and boost ball speeds.

The Dynapwr irons are a slightly smaller package and feature a hollow body construction to improve stability and maximize distance and forgiveness. They also have Energy Transfer Chassis on the back of the clubhead, which are a supportive frame to further enhance stability.

Meanwhile, the Dynapwr Max irons are a larger package and utilize an Open Heel Construction, similar to the open hosel construction in the woods, which pushes mass toward the toe, moving the CG closer to the geometric center of the club. The Max irons will also feature weaker lofts to help golfers get the ball in the air easier.

Wilson 2025 Dynapwr Custom Irons

DYNAPWR Irons are re-engineered from the inside out so every player can revel in the rush of a pure iron shot. PKR-CUP A new Cup Face design combined with our AI generated Variable Face Technology optimizes ball speed, distance and consistent launch windows. VOC “VELOCITY OPTIMIZATION CHANNEL” A channel located in the sole and behind the face allows the face to flex for maximum ball speeds. LOW CENTER OF GRAVITY & HIGH MOI Toe-biased weight distribution makes Dynapower Forged irons faster, more forgiving and higher launching.
