Srixon ZXi drivers, fairway woods and hybrids: 5 things to know about the 2025 line

Srixon ZXi Drivers.

Srixon's ZXi line is coming soon.

Jack Hirsh

With the goal of helping more golfers stripe more shots like touring professionals, the all-new Srixon ZXi drivers, fairway woods and hybrids promise big-time distance, added adjustability and, for some players, an option to flex their might with a maxed-out MOI for straighter and more consistent strikes.

Let’s dive into the key details of the 2025 line:

1. More energy transfer for more distance

The lineup of ZXi drivers, fairway woods and hybrids share a newfound face technology called i-FLEX, which is a face thickness pattern that has a thinner center area with thicker heel and toe regions, resulting in greater energy transfer for longer shots. Also, in certain models, this new technology is made of a new titanium called Ti72S, which, according to Srixon, is stronger, lighter, more flexible and more durable than face materials in previous iterations.

“The flexibility of these clubs enables a more efficient transfer of energy, which, in turn, generates more power at impact,” said Jeff Brunski, Srixon’s VP of research and development. “With every swing, golfers will feel the added strength and responsiveness of these new woods and see their shots go farther.”

Additionally, the internal workings in the ZXi drivers include a latticework star-shaped Star Frame under the razor-thin titanium crown for more structural integrity. All ZXi clubs also feature a Rebound Frame for more face flex and faster ball speed.

2. Three different driver models

ZXi Driver: The best “all-around” option of the trio, the ZXi driver is a high-MOI driver that produces a mid-high launch angle with a mid-low spin rate. It comes with a Ti72S face and two adjustable weights in the heel and toe for further shot pattern refinements.

ZXi LS Driver: Made for players who prefer a low-spin, mid-height trajectory, the ZXi LS driver offers added performance for golfers with faster swing speeds who want to avoid ballooning tee shots. Like the ZXi, the ZXi LS comes with a Ti72S clubface and two adjustable weights — but in this model Srixon has positioned the weights behind the face and toward the rear of the clubhead to allow golfers to dial in a more specific spin rate.

ZXi MAX Driver: With the highest MOI of any Srixon driver yet, the ZXi MAX is designed for maximum forgiveness and distance. Despite its forgiving nature, its shape and profile don’t scream “game improvement.” The clubhead includes a single removable weight in the rear, allowing golfers to adjust the swing weight without altering the intrinsically high MOI design. The ZXi MAX is also available in a women’s model.

3. Enhanced adjustability

Each of the three new drivers, fairways and hybrids come with enhanced adjustability via a 1.5° loft sleeve for adjusting shot shape and face angle. The drivers also have Laser Face Milling, a new feature designed to stabilize spin rates, resulting in more consistent shots in wet conditions.

4. ZXi fairway woods pack a punch, too

The new ZXi Fairways feature much of the same technology as the drivers, including the redesigned i-FLEX clubface and an adjustable hosel. But, on a fundamental level, certain models differ significantly. The 3- and 3+ fairway woods incorporate stepped carbon crowns to lower the CG for higher, longer shots — specifically, 4.6 more yards of carry compared to previous generations. The ZXi fairways also feature tweaks to the leading edge that make the toe area appear more grounded at address, and the new sole design is optimized for added forgiveness. ZXi fairways are available in women’s versions.

5. A first for ZXi hybrids

ZXi Hybrids: Sporting a larger head shape and — for the first time in a hybrid — an adjustable hosel, the ZXi hybrids feature i-FLEX technology and a Rebound Frame for more ball speed and greater forgiveness across all lofts/models. These new hybrids are also available in women’s versions.
