Wilson Golf is adding to the game-improvement wedge category with the Infinite wedges.

Wilson Golf

Wilson Golf has been undergoing a renaissance of sorts over the past few years, and its new Infinite wedges keep up the trend.

Just six years ago, Gary Woodland’s win at the 2019 U.S. Open helped to keep a streak alive of Wilson irons winning a major in every decade since the 1920s. Now the company is out with its impressive Dynapwr woods line and is adding new wedge options to the fold.

Cavity-backed wedges were once thought of as taboo, but with options like the Cleveland CBX and Mizuno S23 and T-3 coming on the market in recent years, even better players can see the benefits of having a little more forgiveness in the scoring clubs.

“The new Infitnite wedges embody Wilson’s commitment to making the short game more accessible and rewarding for golfers of all skill levels,” Wilson Golf Director of Global R&D and Product, Jon Pergande, said in a release. “With a design focused on forgiveness, spin, and feel, these wedges inspire confidence and elevate performance where it matters most.”

While these wedges may be designed for less accomplished players, they don’t feature a lot of offset, which should offer a look most golfers prefer.

What they do have is wide sole and 12 degrees of bounce on each wedge (except for the 48˚ which has 10˚) to make them more forgiving, enhancing turf interaction.

They also feature a unique TPU insert in the cavity to help bolster forgiveness by allowing designers to move even more weight to the perimeter.

But perhaps the most intriguing point of the new Wilson Infinite Wedge is the price point, set at $130, well below its competitors, which are usually at least $150 or more. That mirrors the Wilson Infinite putter lineup, which is similarly designed for less accomplished players and at a friendly price point.

Price and Availability

Wilson Golf Infinite Wedges are available in 48-, 52-, 56- and 60-degree lofts starting April 1 and retail for $129.99.

The precision-milled grooves deliver high spin, the cavity back design offers visual appeal, and the large club face, wide sole, and cavity inserts ensure maximum forgiveness and a softer feel.
